Abstract
The right to education at the level of higher education includes entering universities and various educational levels and includes other sub-rights, such as benefiting from educational, welfare, trade union services, publication of student publications, establishment of political, trade and scientific associations and so on. At the same time, they can be prosecuted for political crimes from the point of view of current criminal laws and disciplinary regulations. The main question of the upcoming research is that if a student is convicted for those crimes, what will happen to his educational rights? Do the political condemnations on the right to his education through the initial entrance to the university, or do they limit the continuation of his education and the rights arising from it? What are the answers of the current laws and regulations cited in the courts as well as the disciplinary and educational regulations in the universities to this question and the practical procedures in this regard? The subject of the research is practical because of some security and criminal dealings with students before and after the Islamic revolution, following the political unrest and the decisions of competent official authorities in this regard. In this research, those questions have been answered through library research with descriptive-analytical method, existing academic regulations, review and reference to criminal, disciplinary and educational laws.
