Abstract

The aim of the current research is to examine the role and participation of governments in the realization of the global sustainable energy cycle, emphasizing the performance, role and legal nature of sustainable energy democracy. A sustainable energy cycle can reduce dependence on fossil fuels and help preserve the environment. The use of renewable energy sources such as wind, solar and geothermal can significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and limit global warming. The research method of this research The type of research method of the present research is descriptive-fundamental and the method of conducting it is a library. The data is prepared from books, magazines and databases and using descriptive methods and comparative analysis leads to conclusions and tests of various hypotheses. The findings of the research show that international law provides a framework for the role and participation of governments in the implementation of the global sustainable energy cycle. The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Paris Agreement serve as primary international agreements that outline countries' commitments to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote clean energy sources. The role of governments in implementing sustainable energy cycles also extends to infrastructure development. Governments must ensure that the necessary infrastructure is in place to support the growth of renewable energy sources and ensure that the energy grid is able to accommodate new sources of clean energy.
