One of the important concerns regarding the holding of elections is the legal-legal clarification of the process and principles governing election proceedings in relation to election violations and crimes, therefore, in this research, the issue of election proceedings in the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United Kingdom has been comparatively studied. The results and findings of this research, which were prepared and organized in a descriptive and analytical method, prove that the structure of election proceedings in Iran and England, from the perspective of compliance with international principles, in cases such as the principle of neutrality, equality, transparency, access to the right to complain and protest and strict supervision, although in the pre-determined explanation of crimes and electoral violations in line with the principle of legality of crimes and punishments as well as the principles of impartiality and independence, the electoral procedure system of England has acted more precisely and scrutinizingly and in contrast to Iran's situation in observing principles such as The time and cost of election proceedings are better than in England. In the field of implementation of electoral proceedings, Iran and England through judicial and non-judicial means, both of them are in common in predicting the separation of judicial and non-judicial solutions as well as determining specialized branches of public courts which are also temporary, although they differ from each other in two points, firstly, the institutions Non-judicial bodies in Iran are such as the Guardian Council, the Islamic Council and the governing executive board.
